I know it’s been a very long time since I’ve made a new post and I can give all kinds of excuses to why that is but it all boils down to we have been SO busy the last few months. As some of my steady readers know, my husband is lead singer for a country band in Houston where we live. Since about May, his schedule has crazy picked up and they have had 1-3 shows almost every weekend. On top of that, we were thought to be scheduled to PCS (aka military move) this summer so we decided it was time to list our beautiful home to sell. That move didn’t end up happening so we are staying in our area (YAY!), but still decided to go ahead and sell because in case the Army says next year we are moving we won’t have to go through the stress of all this again.
Due to that, we had to quickly get all of the underlying projects done which didn’t leave me much free time to actually post the projects. We didn’t do much but a few things have changed and I wanted to share those with you! Hope you enjoy our traditional home tour with a farmhouse flair!
All of the pictures were saved directly from our online listing so hopefully the quality is decent enough! We are downsizing for a little while until we at least can figure out what the next move for Adam’s career is and the kids get a little older to help clean…at least attempt to help 🙂 As soon as we are settled in our rental, I will definitely be updating for that. I will also be adding in another section of this website that will be geared more towards where our lives are going and maybe be incorporating another social media platform that will be the main source for that so stay tuned! After all, this little blog of mine is really all about our lives so I hope you will hop on the journey with us!
